CAISO ACTIVATES AND DEPLOYS 2016 FALL RELEASE

The ISO has deployed and activated the Fall 2016 release effective trade date October 1, 2016.

System changes for the following release projects are complete and active:

Energy Imbalance Market Arizona Public Service and Puget Sound Energy Energy Imbalance Market Year 1 Enhancements Phase 2 Bid Cost Recovery Modifications and Variable Energy Resource Settlements Energy Storage and Distributed Energy Resources Phase 1 Frequency Response OMAR Replacement PIRP Application Decommissioning The remaining Fall 2016 release project, Flexible Ramping Product, is pending FERC approval of a new activation date trade date November 1.
