Ontario ISO (IESO) has been working toward the replacement of their settlement system and as of today, May 1, 2023 it is now live.
This will impact market participants by:
Amendments to Online Settlement Form submissions Amendments to Notice of Disagreement System and Process Amendments to the Settlement Dispute and Resettlements Processes Amendments to Settlement Charge Types and Equations Recalculated Settlement Statements (RCSS) will be introduced Amendments to Preliminary and Final Settlement Statements
We have gathered the requirements to be able to modify our existing automated tools, processes, and downstream systems to reflect amendments to the technical specifications for charge types and data files and adjusted our Market Link processes to capture data of the new Recalculated Settlement Statement.
As data comes into our system we will validate and confirm along with our client partners to ensure a seamless transition.
