ISO-NE Prepares for FTR BoPP
Beginning with the auction for October 2019 prompt month that opens September 17 -19, ISO-NE will enhance the FTR process to include additional months for “Balance of Planning Period”. In an effort to improve price discovery and to provide participants with more opportunities to reconfigure their Financial Transmission Rights (FTRs) portfolio, the monthly FTR auctions will include auctions for each month remaining in the annual period. These changes will impact MIS reports with new and updated reports. Divisional Accounting reporting will also be enabled with FTR assignment functionality in the future, but will use the default subaccount initially for divisional accounting users. Adapt2 is tracking these impacts and will begin updates for revised and new MIS reports that impact its customers as soon as ISO-NE publishes the report descriptions.
